The Top 15 Brands on the App Store

"And when I pointed out the apps to a Times spokeswoman on Tuesday, she asked around and later confirmed that the two apps “are not authorized and our legal department is looking into the matter.” But as of Thursday morning, the apps are still there, ranked #14 and #18 on Apple’s list of top paid news apps."

Here's the Top 10.

Nintendo's DSi Shop is sparsely stocked. It had only two free applications and about 90 titles, mostly costing $2 to $8.
My son likes his DSi but it now pales in comparison to his iPhone usage. It's all about the AppStore.
First, Conrad said he would like to see a “ PageRank for applications.” While Google uses PageRank to deliver the most relevant web pages (theoretically) as search results, app stores should develop a similarly rich search experience.

"Another missing feature from the application is one of our favorite features from the Favstar website - the ability to see who has been favoriting your tweets"

"but another big addition that developer Loren Brichter was able to squeeze in is new Twitter List support. While it’s perhaps not as obvious as it should be (it’s in the “more” tab at the bottom of the app), Lists are not only viewable in Tweetie 2.1, but you can edit/create them as well."
Note to self..log out of the AppStore before letting son play with
iPhone. And what kind of message does it send to companies trying to
capture attention in crowded app stores?
Ok so he's only three, but his purchases were driven by the icons of
the apps and of course by the screenshots included.
Pay attention to detail and represent your brand/company at every turn
like it's the last time anyone will ever see you.
