Mplayit has some mobile stats on what users are willing to pay [RWW]

According to Mplayit's report, about one-third of users across all the major mobile platforms (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry) are interested in paid apps. iPhone users are the most willing to pay for some of their apps (57%), followed by BlackBerry users (33%). Android users are the least likely to be interested in paid apps (16%).

Portable Real Estate Listings -- but With a Difference - NYTimes.com

ZipRealty.com, a Web-based agency in Emeryville, California, introduced in February an iPhone application using A.R. technology that it developed in-house. The application, HomeScan, uses a phone’s camera to display a home over a live feed along with size and value estimates, interior photos and data on other homes for sale nearby.

Big Deal For GetJar

Through this agreement, GetJar's catalog of more than 60,000 free applications will now be available to all Sprint customers with feature phones such as the LG Lotus Elite(TM), Samsung Reclaim(TM) and the Sanyo 2700. In addition, Sprint customers with RIM BlackBerry(R) and Windows Mobile devices also will have access to the GetJar library of applications.
